This might be related to of #1002 (fixed in 2016), but specifically involving code line highlighting. Here's a minimal repro of the problem: oconnor663@37bdae7
The first slide has no display problems, but it uses line highlighting:
The second slide has blurry text. This seems to happen to all slides that come after line highlighting is used, when transition is set to "none":
The third slide has the same problem, but it also has line highlighting, and once that's triggered it fixes the blurriness problem for the code (but not for the title):
