Default Motorola font makes backticks render incorrectly in Edit Mode

Code blocks in markdown files don't render properly when editing using Motorola's default font.

In View Mode, they do render correctly.

If I switch to Android's default font, they are displayed correctly in Edit Mode.

The first font in the list below is Motorola's default. I had to switch to the "Android" font to get Markor rendering correctly.

I'm running Android 13 on a Moto G32.

I don't know if this is a bug in Markor or in the font used. I haven't seen this problem on any other app, but then Markor is the only text editor I use.
