Would be nice if it adds a label to the PR that indicates that the PR is dependent/blocked

That's dependent upon a label already existing (it needs to be defined by the repo). Github does add the blocked label by default, but it can be removed if the repo owner has modified them.

I'd recommend adding the labeler action to your workflow file to run when the dependency check fails.

Sorry wasnt clear enough on this one. Yes i meant set a label name in the workflow that u created in your repo to add to the PR

like its done here https://github.com/Levi-Lesches/blocking-issues#blocking-issues
