When I use the point cloud generated by open3d as input, the number of Gauss rises briefly, and then filters out some of the non-eligible Gauss at the 3000th iteration, but why filter out more than half of the original Gauss I input

Pruning depends what 'pictures' (random thing) was selected and transferred to splats. If you got picture that have your staring geometry this will be cleaned to few splats and it will be iterated more.
