Dependency Installer

Boss has a nice feature that installs dependencies from local cache, directories, or git repositories.

I think it would be a nice feature for Pasbuild, or as a standalone tool 'Pasdep' that can work with pasbuild projects.

PasBuild already supports a local repository (see 'PasBuild install' command). Remote repository support is on my todo list. It's about 90% planned already.

But I'll have a look at that URL and see if there is further improvements I could borrow. Thanks for letting me know.

Ok. Thanks for pointing that out that it does have install. I think I end up just glazing over pasbuilds help output. There is a lot that prints out. It is all useful, but the commands go out of view on my terminal.

Maybe help categories? pasbuild compile --help pasbuild install --help for example, could show more detailed help with examples?

Just pasbuild could show a trimmed down help with main keywords, and not all examples?

Glad you are finding it useful. Paged output is not built into pasbuild --help output yet, but if you are on linux, freebsd or macos you could do: passbuild --help | less which allows you to PgUp & PgDn (or use the Up/Down arrow keys) in the output. Then q to quit out.

I use less all the time in the terminal. Even when I cat a file, instead of opening it in a editor.

ps: I like the idea of extended help for a specific command. I've added that to my todo list. :)
