When using kana input in mozc-2.20.2673.102 with fcitx, mozc assumes a standard Japanese keyboard layout, even though the selected keyboard layout is US. this means that instead of 「 & 」being mapped to shift-゛ & shift-゜ as in MS-IME, they are instead mapped to shift-゜ & shift-む. The latter corresponds to shift-[ and shift-] on a Japanese keyboard, but on a US keyboard this corresponds to shift-] & shift-\ which is very confusing.
