Markdown toolbar support for comments/issues/posts with preview

Currently there is only support for plain text.
I would suggest to take a look at fasthub - https://github.com/k0shk0sh/FastHub
It has support for markdown, including adding links and images. For images it also has in-built support to add images directly using imgur api
It also has preview which renders like how it should in web (github.com)

Hi @rancidfrog, we introduced markdown parsing in the last release.
Make sur you are currently using 1.3.0 by navigating to the options screens of your profile.

I dont really prefer that.

GitPoint is known for its simple and clean UI. Something like this would fill up everything and make it very confusing and unclear.

It can always be collapsible, as seen on bottom screenshot the blue arrow, or a switch setting to enable or disable.
Adding half a cm for a toolbar is still simple.
Besides, github web design is very simple and hardly confusing. And it has a toolbar for comments, etc, for markdown.
I think it is helpful, especially as a shortcut for links, imgs, and all.

Thanks for this @rancidfrog. Definitely see the use case for this without a doubt. I think it would be outstanding to allow the user to:

• write in markdown
• include links
• maybe allow images from imgur api?
• allow upload of images from device camera roll

However I'm also concerned with what @tautf mentioned. Definitely will need to flush this out design wise (with mockups) in etc in detail with a solid idea of how we can go forward before anyone takes this in.
