Invoking plugins again #354

It shouldn't be any different than calling a plugin multiple times in the same customization. I've done exactly what you're asking...used the network plugin during a customize and then stuffed another .nmconnection file at burn time (this for burning a disk for a server). Try it! If it doesn't work, it's a bug. LMK and I'll fix it. |

This isn't asking whether a plugin can be called multiple times during the same sdm run.
I'm wondering, in general, about which plugins can be invoked in a customize and then again during a burn. I would want to set the generally applicable subset of a plugin's options during the customize, and then any host-specific options in the burn.
Specifically, I'm wondering whether I can run the network plugin during a customize, setting most things, then again during a burn in order to add one additional .nmconnection file.
Possible pitfalls:
plugins that just weren't coded to be called again
plugins that expect to get some "minimum set" of required options on every call
plugins that reset values not specified on the second call to some default, not leaving them as previously set
