Originally reported on Google Code with ID 353

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Start a clean browser

2.RSS feed url to list commit
3.Login when the prompt is shown
3.Click on one commit row
4.You will get an error when git blits load that this
(Unauthorized access for repository xxxxx.git)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When you load the url in a browser you get a login prompt before the commits is listed
and in this case the user that owns the repo is the on loggedin.

And if you list the commit feed using the gitblits api, then a users login information
should be prompted for.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.32

Please provide any additional information below.

The problem is that you already has logged in using basic authentication.
Why do you then get the error shown in the picture.
If the system want's the user to login again why not present a login prompt to the
user and when the user has logged in bring them to the content they original requested.

Got it. I'll have to look at that more closely. It should recognize the basic header
if it's there. I can repeat your finding on my installs.
