I really would like to clean up the GUI a little bit. As a first time user I was wondering and got a little bit confused that some of the possibilities to adjust the traces or layout of the graphs are positioned at different places or pages of the GUI, e.g. the color and label text position of a bar plot are on the first plot properties page, but the bar mode option is set on the second layout properties page. The hover settings are split at different places as well.
Is that intended or just happened over time?

I would do the changes by myself. Any suggestions, wishes or the overall opinion from the developers for changing the GUI are very much appreciated.
I have one additional question to the developers: is there a reason that the GUI is organized in a nested widget for the "plot properties" and "layout properties" inside the stacked widget for properties, plot, help pages and html page or is that just happend by convenience over the years?
I would really like to spent some of my time for this project. I use this plugin for my own work and have some more ideas for enhancement. Thank you very much for this wonderful plugin!
