The package documentation (in doc/ref/gappkg.xml) should mention prerequisites.sh and document how we use it (namely BuildPackage.sh invokes it when present, and thus it is also used for typical CI tests here and in the PackageDistribution).

I assume it would be documented close to where configure is documented.
