ForgeZero-CLI is a command-line toolkit designed to streamline developer workflows by tackling low-level build system complexities.
We develop software that helps engineers focus on what matters — writing code. Our primary focus is solving low-level infrastructure challenges, particularly those involving cumbersome build systems like CMake and Make, which often become bloated and difficult to maintain.
If you're familiar with our Go-based toolchain — you already know what we're about. ForgeZero is a growing ecosystem of utilities aimed at simplifying systems programming, automation, and tooling.
We build on a modern, systems-level technology stack:
-
Go — primary language for CLI tools and infrastructure
-
C — system-level components and OS research
-
C++ — performance-critical modules and build system integrations
-
NASM — bootloader development and low-level x86 assembly
-
Rust — memory-safe systems programming for future components
This diverse stack allows us to choose the right tool for each layer of the system — from high-level user interfaces down to the bare metal.
In addition to the CLI tools, we're actively working on:
- Operating system research
- FzBoot — a custom bootloader designed for flexibility and performance
These projects are currently developed in private channels. If you're interested in contributing or gaining early access, feel free to reach out at:

All ForgeZero projects are released under strict open-source compliance:
- MIT for permissive libraries and tools
- GPLv3 for system-level components
We believe in transparency, community-driven development, and reproducible builds.
