flet ads issue "Unknown control: banner_ad"

Hey there, I'm stuck trying to get a banner ad to load in my app..

I have a class (page) with a build method that returns a view with some contents. one of the items is a container that has a flet-ads BannerAd. The problem is the banner ad shows up with text that reads "Unknown control: banner_ad"

Here is my sample code

def build(self):

banner_ad = flet_ads.BannerAd(
            unit_id=self._get_id_banner(),
            width=320,
            height=50,
            on_open=lambda e: LOG.info("Banner ad opened"),
            on_close=lambda e: LOG.info("Banner ad closed"),
            on_load=lambda e: LOG.info("Banner ad loaded"),
            on_error=lambda e: LOG.error(f"Banner ad error: {e.data}"),
            on_click=lambda e: LOG.info("BannerAd clicked"),
            on_impression=lambda e: LOG.info("BannerAd impression"),
            on_will_dismiss=lambda e: LOG.info("BannerAd will dismiss"),
        )

banner_ad_container = ft.Container(
            content=banner_ad,
            alignment=ft.alignment.center,

Also, I have tried running the example here:

on my iphone with

flet run --ios src/ad.py

and have the same errors.

"Unknown control: interstitial_ad"

and when I click the button
"Unknown control: banner_ad"
