I want to run flameshot on wayfire, but I got these errors:

Have you tried to set the env-var?
export XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=GNOME

Yes, when doing so flameshot doesn't crash but no cursor appears to select an area and the screen doesn't dim.

adding the qt_qpa variable doesn't change anything

Have your installed adwaita-icon-theme?

$ pacman -Q | grep -i theme
adwaita-icon-theme 46.0-1

The issue has nothing todo with the gtk warnings. I get those for just about every GTK app I use and have no issues.

OK, I am using arch with wayland + gnome. We may can compare the environment if it helps.
