My name is Lilian Swann. I am a senior here at UT, majoring in CS and minoring in graphic design. This past summer I interned at ORNL and the summer before I interned at Fermilab. I'm still discovering my interests, but this past summer I worked in both cyber security and web development and I enjoyed both areas. I wanted to take this class for a few reasons. First, I am interested in learning how to properly handle data so I can know what to do (and what not to do) for all my future projects. I am also interested in cyber security and part of that involves digging up and restoring potentially lost data. And last, I wanted to take this class because I haven't had a class like it yet.
