Image logo's in Alacritty on Arch

but this only does the usual "PNG" text which isnt really what am trying to do

Use "type": "kitty-direct" instead

when i use jsonc "type": "kitty-direct" neither the picture or text shows up, is there any dependencies i need?

It wouldn't work as alacritty cannot display images like PNGs or JPGs (Well as far as I know alacritty doesn't). Try using kitty and see if it'll work as kitty supports images and can display them.
