Setup Android Studio on Mac Install JDK for MAC OS X 64 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html

Download Android Studio .dmg file

Go to : http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

Launch the .dmg file > Drag and drop it into Application folder

Open the Android Studio form APP Launcher, Now if the JVM is not installed in your PC you will get the error message .

Follow the link and download javaForOSX.dmg and install it and Launch Android studio again

Now you are good to go… At the first launch it will do sdk installation , just follow as the ide directs !! Happy learning Android ☺
