Project gets broken when cleanup react native project

When run the script suggested:

#!/bin/sh
watchman watch-del-all
rm -rf node_modules && npm install
rm -fr $TMPDIR/react-*
npm start -- --reset-cache

The project gets updated. Sometimes it breaks the whole project when some package versions are not compatible.

Ideally it should maintain the original versions and update them when requested.
