Are you sure you created project with RN 0.47.1 ?

0.48.0 has just been released.

Before 0.47 worked and have an app too working. I updated to 0.48 for a new app and it crashed. So reverted to 0.47.1 but still not working.. really strange

Now the app just crashes thats it without any error display

Have same problem with 0.48 in fresh app.

Found problem - I'm accidentally removed react-native folder in node_modules

Seems like the new version has some breaking changes.

I had the same error, what solved it was:

  1. Go to Link the Build Phases tab in Xcode
  2. Select libRCTBlob.a under Link Binary with Libraries and then click the - sign below.
  3. Close and re-open Xcode
  4. Click the + sign and re-add libRCTBlob.a
