I'm pretty new to OpenSnitch and found out that shortcuts/shortkeys are pretty scarce in the GUI application. I used to use simplewall, which is kind of similar to OpenSnitch. In simplewall you can freely use the keyboard to navigate and edit everything, including rules (at least Edit, Delete. Select all, Copy). My proposal is:
when a user is on a specific tab, the Down key should select the first row of data in a table under the tab (this functionality works)
when there is a selected row in a table, the Return should call a default action, which are:
on "Events" tab create a new rule < very convenient, you don't need to use mouse and try to reach "Rules->New" in the popup menu
on "Rules" tab edit the rule < very convenient too
on "Nodes", "Hosts", "Applications", "Addresses", "Ports", "Users", "Netstat" nothing to do yet
Then, other shortcuts may be added. For example, for rules they can be change action, duration, enable or disable, delete.
P.S. I did search discussions for similar topic and found only #727.
Update I edited the original post, because my original question evolved to a proposal.
I think this proposal should improve overall user experience especially for users who avoid using mouse.
