Socket configuration

I have been using this script for a while, now I'm starting to use appwrite who uses traefik. I was able to change traefik with nginx almost without problem, the web traffic is working normally. Now they have released a new feature who uses a websocket, but I don't know how to set up that

I know what I have to add to get that working:

My cuestion is, how do I add this to a specific service, I remember there was something about custom config in the docs, but I don't find it now

Please check this page and options to see if you can reach out what you expect:

You might change the it for all requests or even for an specific domain, which you must use the file name as per your domains:

https://github.com/nginx-proxy/nginx-proxy#per-virtual_host

I have been able to add the config file per virtual host

But I can't make the config I previously wrote works

I have tried adding only the location part and also the full config as is in the gist. I know this is more like nginx settings than NPA, but I would appreciate any help

I've tried with the example: https://github.com/nginx-proxy/nginx-proxy/blob/main/test/test_custom/my_custom_proxy_settings.conf

and I can see the header in the server responses, so I know the changes I made are working

One more thing appwrite uses multiples services for its features, for example the frontend is in a service called appwrite
This is where I have added - VIRTUAL_HOST, LETSENCRYPT_HOST, LETSENCRYPT_EMAIL

The realtime feature is in a separate container called appwrite-realtime if I'm not wrong I should add the config to this container, or at least there should be something I should add in order the make the websocket work right?

after a little of help and read the documentation I think I understand a little bit more what should I do

1. add - /path/to/custom-settings.conf:/etc/nginx/vhost.d/domain_location_realtime:ro
2. add the config to domain_location_realtime

That should solve the problem, however if instead of domain_location_realtime I add domain_location I see nginx-data/conf.d/default.conf points to domain_location but when I add the _realtime it does not work

I don't know what should I do to solve this problem

I really need to look into it with more attention, but I will not be able to do so in this nexts weeks or so. If you figure it out a way to solve it let us know to help other that uses the nginx-proxy.
