This is a call to discuss a frameworks to help aid with coordination between the various EVM-like L2s. The idea is to establish optional norms and standards for L2s to be able to extend the EVM and related tooling while limiting conflicts with the L1 EVM and preventing a proliferation of mutually incompatible standards among the L2s.

Not sure if this is the place to ask for a slot in the discussion.

Our team recently proposes RIP7696 and would like to present explanations about it:
https://github.com/ethereum/RIPs/blob/master/RIPS/rip-7696.md

This RIP proposes a precompile to enable generic ECC (P256, Ed25519, babyjujub, starkcurve) with an optimized tradeoff to obtain comparable performances as using k1 (under the hood enables a GLV-like multiexponentiation).

The presentation would expose benchmarks of the result, explain potential outcomes for L2 and optimization insight of ZKEVM circuits.

@rdubois-crypto it'd be great to have a short presentation on RIP-7696. Say 5 mins + questions

Perfect, 5 short slides will be displayed (context + solidity implementation results + circuit insight)
