Cannot use iperf after building v3.17.1 from source

Hi, I build iperf v3.17.1 with ./configure; make; make install. However after building I find I cannot run iperf3 -s, it will just show the following message:

# /usr/local/bin/iperf3 -s
Usage: iperf3 [-s|-c host] [options]

I can use the iperf3 installed by apt:

# /usr/bin/iperf3 -s

Also, I find iperf3 --version still showing the version installed previously by apt-get, not v3.17.1:

I tried to use apt purge iperf3 to remove the iperf3 managed by apt and build from source again, but I still cannot run iperf3 -s and iperf3 --version still showing wrong version.

/usr/local/bin/iperf3 should be the binary I just build from source:

# which iperf3
/usr/local/bin/iperf3

I'm running ubuntu20.04 with a 5.15 kernel

I run make install on WSL Ubuntu 22.04 and it worked o.k.
Note that the install is copying "src/.libs/iperf3" to "/usr/local/bin/": libtool: install: /usr/bin/install -c .libs/iperf3 /usr/local/bin/iperf3.
Check "src/.libs/iperf3". Maybe it was not built properly for some reason.

Do you have libiperf or libiperf0 packages installed? You might need to get rid of those in addition to the iperf3 package.

Yes I found libiperf0 installed. After removing it everything works fine now. Thank you!
