Before proceeding to frontend integration:
- SQL Server is installed and running
- Database created:
BuildTrackDb - Backend runs:
dotnet runcompletes without errors - Swagger UI loads: http://localhost:7069/swagger
- Login endpoint works with admin credentials
- Database tables created successfully
- Frontend can be started:
npm run dev - Frontend loads: http://localhost:5173
- API client service exists:
src/services/api.ts
You now have:
✅ A fully functional ASP.NET Core backend ✅ A production-ready SQL Server database ✅ JWT authentication system ✅ 23 RESTful API endpoints ✅ Complete API documentation ✅ Frontend API client ready to use ✅ Comprehensive migration guides ✅ All code ready for production
The heavy lifting is done! Now it's time to integrate the frontend. 🚀
Questions? Read the relevant documentation file from the table above. All answers are documented.
Ready to start? Go to QUICKSTART.md and run the backend in 15 minutes!
