@michaelnmmeyer — do you understand why the first bibliogr. items is terminated with "." before the "edit on zotero" button, while the second isn't?

This is because I only add a period at the end of a field if the field does not already end with a sentence-terminal punctuation mark (one of .?!), possibly with some other punctuation in-between (to account for closing quotes and brackets, in particular). If you replace the question marks in the second entry with page numbers, a period will be added.
