I think I'd prefer "Tentative reading" as we have at https://dharmalekha.info/editorial-conventions as header for <unclear cert="low">.

In this case, I am forcing myself to decipher a string of characters that is neither clearly legible nor comprehensible. I don't even know what language it is meant to be. So I am not sure this my use of <unclear cert="low"> here is fully EGD compliant. At least the conventions state "This indicates reduced confidence in the reading, not reduced legibility of the original", which is not fully applicable to my case.
