CRDs downward compatible??

On our cluster we have version 1.4.1 and we want to add v1.5.5 (on a different namespace of course) as a blue/green deployment. If we install the CRDs for 1.5.5, is our 1.4.1 installation going to be affected? Even if it is, it's only a matter of re-installing the 1.4.1 CRDs to get things back to normal, correct?

there're two kinds of things:

1. Gateway API CRD: both of v1.5 and v1.4 used Gateway API v1.3.
2. Envoy Gateway CRD: there's no gurattee for this now.
