Steps to reproduce

  1. I sent a threaded message into a room
  2. someone reacted to it
  3. I am still viewing the thread

Outcome

What did you expect?

no unreads

What happened instead?

  • the space and room list shows an unread-dot
  • the threads panel button in the header shows a grey dot
  • the threads list does NOT show a dot
  • the dot won't disappear

Reloading the tab (still Element version: b9ea639-react-9ea04a539b5a-js-5d233f3863ea Olm version: 3.2.14) cleared it.

Stuck notifications epic: #24392

From the title, #24000 is related, but in my case the reaction was to the latest message in the thread (and the whole room).
