Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a user profile in the right panel
  2. "Share link to user"
  3. Send a matrix.to link in a DM (it won't pillify)
  4. Click on the link and see it open in the right panel

unless profile lookups are disabled for your situation in which case this is expected behaviour?

I can reproduce this, only happens if the link doesn't pillify

Editing and adding a space randomly made it pillify

then it works fine

@gsouquet Can we verify if this is still a bug? I can't reproduce it - but if it's possible then we should put this on the Matrix.to Cycle list.
