Space User panel doesn't open after the first time

Steps to reproduce

1. Right click on a space icon, choose "explore rooms"
2. Click the elipses next to the list of users to view the full member list, or click the "XX Members" link. Either opens the side panel with the full list of space members
3. Close the side panel
4. click either link again

Outcome

What did you expect?

The side panel should open again

What happened instead?

It never appears again after that, even after clearing cache and reloading.
