Is your suggestion related to a problem? Please describe.
The current dark mode doesn't look too great in all honesty- Element Android actually has an official black/AMOLED mode and it looks fantastic.

Describe the solution you'd like
An official black mode that isn't just a theme- Element's theming has a few problems that I won't go into here.

Describe alternatives you've considered
N/A- other than sending people aconfig.jsonfile

Additional context
I created a mockup of what a good black theme could look like:
