Left room is still displayed as "Empty room" in rooms list

Bug report:
after i leave a room by hitting the Leave button in settings, it still hangs around my room list as “Empty room” with no scrollback :/ LL bug presumably

I can confirm this occurs on version 0.7.6 master #213. Once I leave a room it initially disappears from the room list but after restarting the app it appears as an empty room in my room list. I can, however, scroll back and see the earlier messages in the room. Messages after I left the room are not visible. If I navigate to the room in the room directory I can view all the messages without being prompted to join the room. Attempting to quit one of the empty rooms (from the main page) causes the spinning loading icon but even after several minutes doesn't seem to do anything. I can navigate to other parts of the app while the loading icon is animating but doing so results in it disappearing.

The bug happens when a room is left where there is a request on the room is in progress.
When this request completes, it will save data in the store, even if the room data has been deleted. This data will appear on the next app start.

This is not a new bug but it is more visible with LL because we call /members when opening a room.
If this is a big room and if the user quickly goes to the room settings and leave the room, we have the bug.
The bug also happens when a pagination was in progress.
