Export Chat not working, element app turns blank white after a while

Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
   Click export chat, select from beginning, check to include attachments, max size set to 2000

After quite some time it went past like half a million 'events' in the counter but kept going, I don't think the chat was all that long or had that many messages, it shouldn't have taken so long or ended up out of 'memory?' making entire element app blank/white and requiring me to kill it and restart it.

What did you expect?

An HTML file with the exported chat available in a couple minutes

What happened instead?

Waited forever and got nothing, didn't work, had to kill and restart element app
