should not use conceallevel=2

I want to should set listchar=conceal:^ in concealed text. (I need to show those conceal char for snippet placeholder).
But conceallevel=2 will not show them.
I think set conceallevel=1 is better.

I think you're right. I see no reason for setting the conceal level to higher than 1. I'll fix this. Thanks! :-)
