Increase the default height of the terminal programmatically

Description

Is there any way Or API to set the default height of the terminal at the time of open?
If I do it by simply increasing the height by JavaScript then the height of the terminal pane
increases but the actual terminal height was not increased inside it.

I saw the terminal API but did not see the option but I believe there is some code because
it restores the height in the browser which was set previously by the user bt dragging the pane.
