[terminal][firefox] select/paste not working #1960
Comments
Did you try it on the same platform with the same shell? |
I can confirm that it is the case. Using the same backend, the "select&paste" works on a Chrome client, but not Firefox (tried version up-to 60.0.1). @kittaakos Is there such a "select&paste" feature on MacOS? I do not think there is on Windows? Also, I wonder if this should also work in other views? It works, in general, on Linux, across (most) applications, with textual selections. However, even on Chrome, pasting this way doesn't work e.g. in a Theia editor (but it does work when selecting text, as a source to paste elsewhere). Probably something to investigate in more depth. |
I am not aware of such a feature. |

In Theia terminal view (From Firefox), double-click over a word to select/copy does not copy the selection where we try to drop it (in the terminal or elsewhere).
Doing a double-click or select some data in the terminal of Theia when using Chrome works
Double-click works on a regular terminal as well.
