I want to build a modeling tool by emf.cloud for Avionics System modeling. Thank you very much.

We have a demo for how to build a modeling tool here: https://github.com/eclipsesource/coffee-editor/ (I suggest to wait some days or use this PR https://github.com/eclipsesource/coffee-editor/pull/223 ).
There is also this blog https://eclipsesource.com/blogs/2019/12/16/introducing-emf-cloud/ explaining the different technologies used.
What you will need is:

• Eclipse Theia: https://github.com/eclipse-theia/theia, you can find a big blog series here https://eclipsesource.com/blogs/tag/eclipse-theia/

• EMFJson: https://github.com/emfjson/emfjson-jackson (used eg by the model server https://github.com/eclipse-emfcloud/emfcloud-modelserver)

• Theia Tree Editor: https://github.com/eclipsesource/theia-tree-editor which uses JSONForms https://github.com/eclipsesource/jsonforms/

• GLSP https://github.com/eclipse-glsp if you want to have graphical modling similar to GMF

So I would suggest to look at the coffee-editor and maybe the ecore glsp (https://github.com/eclipsesource/ecore-glsp/ if you are interested in graphical modeling).
As a very short and very incomplete guide you will need to:

• setup a theia application (as described here: https://eclipsesource.com/blogs/2019/11/21/how-to-create-develop-an-eclipse-theia-ide-extension/)

• convert your emf model to json + jsonschema in order to have form based editing by either using the model server or by hand. If you are using emfforms (emfforms.com) already you can export your model and ui schema so that it can be consumed by jsonforms.

• To integrate JSONForms (jsonforms.io) for form based editing you can either use the Theia tree editor or take a look there on how to do it

The app https://github.com/eclipse-emfcloud/ecore-glsp would be perfect for my needs, I would just need to implement some parsers from/to ecore. However, I cannot run it (details eclipse-emfcloud/ecore-glsp#46). I says no theia, so I installed one via nvm. I do not know what I did wrong ...

I looked into logs in ~/.theia but there is perfectly nothing, just an empty directory 'host'
