How about a new release?

Would be nice to being able to integrate the changes we had in the past months into conan (and maybe for other package managers too). Would also be good to have an official release in this repo in general, see also #15.

Good morning. Agree, this is a good idea, thanks for raising it. We'll discuss in the maintainers group.

Working on it. We'll be doing an initial EBU release now (v1.7) to make sure we have all workflows transferred correctly and to capture the current state of things. From here, we have a larger PR, which will be worked on after the release but by itself, it will qualify for a release feature.

I've closed #15 for now, but will close this one if the v1.7 release also includes Docker images. They are pending a permission issue that prevents us from uploading
