Versioning in EASIFEM

EASIFEM version has following schema YYYY.MM.PATCH.

For example 2023.10.0 denotes the release for October 2023.

We will have two main releases in a year.

• The first release will be near the end of April
• The second release will be near the end of October.

Release system

• The master branch represents the latest release.
• Whenever a branch is merged into the master branch, a new release is created.
• If the merging occurs from November to April, then the patch number is updated in the release version.
• If the merging occurs from May to October, then the patch number if updated in the release version.

Development

• All pull request should be made to the dev branch.
• First, create an issue.
• Then create a branch for this issue.
• Make changes on the branch and submit a pull request.
• We will then merge the changes into dev branch.
• At the end of every month we will push the changes from dev to master branch and create new release.
