I have my music organized mostly via filesystem, being able to browse my library via filesystem would be wonderful.

This was in my backlog to add eventually. Do you have an idea of what you'd want the UI for this to be like? Note that it will probably be a less "rich" user experience, since there's no way of telling which directories are actually albums, etc, so there won't be the nice page header with cover image and details, or the grid view of cover art. Also, directories could contain both subdirectories and music files, so I'd need a UI component that can display both together.

It could probably be based on a modified version of the current tracklist display, except that most of the columns would be irrelevant and empty for directories.

You could borrow some UI ideas from Sonixd which also has browse by folder.

It's currently in maintenance mode and its successor will be Jellyfin and Navidrome only - no subsonic.
