Fails on sites with no inline-styles allowed in CSP

Hi all,

I've just stumbled upon this repo through updating one of my site's CSP policies to not allow any unsafe-inline styles. I am noticing this function that my browser injects is trying to do just that.

I'm unsure by the comment around the function if this is intended. If it's not that's something that's intended then I wanted to get it on your radar as a potential improvement. If it is intended then feel free to close this issue.
