Thanks for your feedback., @txwizard. We prioritize examples based on page views, and this one tends to be low. We do have some examples in the documentation that read settings from an app.config file; the code is almost identical, except for a change of type names, if that helps. In the meantime, we'll add this issue to our backlog and to the community contributor's project.
