The one section that's missing is testing. Howdoyou validate the implementation of such portions of a stack?

Hi @jmaclabs, good thinking. I think the Site Reliability Engineering book is a good resource for this. Unfortunately it has a non-derivatives license which seems like it might be difficult to add material from the book (IANAL).
