Unable to select GitHub organization #1943
Comments
Same problem for me, i have :
If i update the service account as owner, I can see the github organization and select the repository and the build works. But then when i change the service account as member only with read access to repository then the build fail with
For security raison the service account must not be owner of github organization and a simple read access on the repository must be enought to build, isn't it? |

This makes me wonder what's the point of this issue tracker in the first place… |
Sorry about that. Could you try again and provide the github org, the user name, the hub org/user name, and a general time frame of when it happened? |
Sorry, I have no time to retry |
When you get a chance, please retry. We do not have indefinite logs to search for events like this, unfortunately. |
sagemath does not have a subscription that seems to be necessary to do this now. So I can't try with that account anymore unfortunately. |
The account sagemathadmins cannot create automated builds for repositories of the sagemath organization. I did all the steps described in https://success.docker.com/article/cant-access-new-github-organization-for-automated-builds but still the organization does not show up in the dropdown when creating automated build. There are also no access restrictions on the organization so this is not #1185.
There are no HTTP errors or anything like that, so there seems to be no way to debug this from the outside.
