MControlCenter sort of works on MSI GL66 12UEK (Arch Linux)

Laptop: MSI GL66 12UEK

OS: Arch Linux (CachyOS)
Kernel: 7.1.3-2-cachyos
Package: mcontrolcenter-bin 0.5.1-1

Tested result:

• Both fans turn on when using MControlCenter.
• Advanced fan mode/custom fan curve settings can be configured and are saved in ~/.config/MControlCenter.conf.
• The saved settings are restored after login by adding mcontrolcenter.desktop to ~/.config/autostart.
• mcontrolcenter-helper starts correctly.

Limitation:

• I cannot directly control or verify exact fan speeds from MControlCenter.
• MControlCenter shows a warning that msi-ec is not installed.
• The msi_ec kernel module exists on my kernel, but sudo modprobe msi_ec fails with:

msi_ec: Firmware version is not supported: '1583EMS1.111'

Loaded MSI-related modules:

• msi_wmi
• msi_wmi_platform

So on MSI GL66 12UEK, MControlCenter seems to make both fans activate, but proper fan-speed control may not be fully supported because msi_ec does not support this firmware yet.
