Communication with other tasks

Hi, I am using your library to communicate with Nextion and to display date and time I am getting from DS3231 in other thread, so it works but I have made another page to adjust time and I need to get data from DS3231 Thread only once on realizing Nextion's button (once - because if it repeats it will be hard to adjust time). Can you provide an example that will fine to use with FreeRTOS?
