Instructions for installation and usage

  Requirements: to run this project you must first install docker, docker-compose:
  1. Install docker: https://docs.docker.com/get-docker/;
  2. Install docker-compose: https://docs.docker.com/compose/install/.

  Prepare environment files:
  1. In the backend directory, create a .env file similar to the one provided in the .env.example;
  2. In the frontend directory, create a .env file similar to the one provided in the .env.example.

  Run the application:
  1. Go to the root folder of the application;
  2. docker-compose build;
  3. docker-compose up;
  4. Wait for the fuseki container to be up and running (Start Fuseki (http=3030) message will be shown in the terminal);
  5. In another terminal, load the ontology data by issuing the following command from the root folder of the app:
    curl --location --request POST 'http://localhost:3030/ontology/data' --header 'Content-Type: multipart/form-data' --form 'data=@ontology/doid-merged.owl' 
  6. Open your browser on http://localhost:3000/.
