The 0.4-alpha is the first published version of part-y. It mainly contains the 'enumdisks', 'info', 'preparewin10', and 'convertwin10' commands, which let you convert your MBR-partitioned system to a GPT-partitioned system thus enabling a (secure) UEFI boot. All required steps (e.g. Boot Configuration Data creation, EFI-NVRAM variable handling, etc.) are carried out by this version.
The tool is able to handle far more scenarios compared to the original MS tool mbr2gpt.exe.
