How to compile dep

I would like to apply PRs to 7.x on a personal repo, but I don't know how to compile deployer. Can anyone explain me please ?

It is super simple. Just run

php bin/build -v7.0.0

@antonmedv Sorry to bother you here for this question, but what is the relationship between dep and deployer.phar archive? When I modify php recipes, it seems that it's not applied when provisioning or deploying, so I wondered if dep wasn't the phar archived itself.

Then I see that the build script includes dep. Can you clarify this for me please ?

bin/dep it is the entry point to deployer. bin/dep copied to deployer.phar.

In 7.x branch, the bin/dep replaced with deployer.phar.

If bin/dep is replaced by deployer.phar, does it mean if I remove dep inclusion, deployer.phar will work as intended ?

Sorry, I don't understand how dep is being replaced with deployer.phar, but deployer.phar uses it. Anyway, I understand that I have to keep dep, so be it.

@antonmedv Sorry again, built phar with php -d phar.readonly=false bin/build -v7.6.0 (my new tag), built successfully. Phar package can't find dep, while it's correctly in the phar.

Do you know this issue?

For an unknown reason, bin/dep is a binary file, that's why I couldn't read it and understand its usage.

I replaced my bin/dep with your latest 7.x deployer.phar/bin/dep, and rebuilt deployer.phar, now it's working great. Thank you
