Ship dendron features with a vim plugin

I'm a neovim and vscode user and I really like dendron, but I didn't find anything close to it on vim, I mean markdown based, back link support, etc.... It would be great to have dendron's features ship within a vim plugin.

That would actually be terrific, @jakara, and I would love to see such a plugin.

@namjul actually started working on one here: dendron.nvim

As for other alternatives, here are some neovim options:
